Fantastic bomber. The material is great but it didnt sit on my awkward short XXL frame. but i love the other ones - its not the fit, this material just didnt sit well on me. love the brand though will be order other bombers but the thinner materials.
I already had a jacket from here a long time ago and it was an amazing jacket. One of my absolute favorites and I used it almost every outing with different styles and different layers. The quality, fitment and style were perfect. Four way stretch? Bomber? Lightweight? Sold. I'll buy all of them if I had the chance because honestly I don't think I'll be buying any other kind other than Claim de Fame. Absolute amazing jacket. Highly recommend!
Good fit. Light and easy to bring around
It is really comfortable and soft to the touch. Clean, great look.
love the jacket - super comfortable, light and fits great
Was a bit skeptical but the jacket is as advertised. Light, comfortable, and fairly well made and fit perfectly (Med/5ft 8"/180lbs). Passed the machine wash test with no noticeable shrinkage, color fade (black color) or bleed, and basically wrinkle free! My previous "light" jacket annoyingly needed to be ironed and starched every time. A couple slight negatives for me at least are the arms are just slightly on the thin side, but I'm used to having loose sleeves. The other issue is, what looks like, inner side pockets on both sides. Those pockets aren't enclosed- there's an opening at the top AND the full length of one side (side facing the front). So if you put anything in there, it'll just fall out the side opening. I don't see what purpose to leave it open like that, rendering it unusable unless they forgot to have it sewn shut. In any case, I plan to sew the side shut to make it useful. I noticed it when I threw my wallet in one and it just fell on the floor.
Hey Rod, thanks so much for the feedback. Glad you're liking the jacket and appreciate the in-depth review. I think it'll be helpful for a lot of people! Just wanted to follow up on the lack of internal pocket that you mention in your review. The main reason we didn't sew it off on the inside to make it a "true interior pocket" was because the jacket is designed to be so lightweight (kind of like a premium dress shirt almost) where any places to add additional weight of phone, keys, etc. would show it's impression pretty easily through the exterior of the jacket and potentially look bulky and messy. It was important for us maintain a sleek, tailored fit everywhere, especially through the body and adding an interior pocket could potentially have a negative impact on the clean look and fit of the jacket. Also, the security on that open top pocket would not be ideal and we didn't want to risk having stuff fall out of it if you were to run to catch a cab or something. Definitely something for us to look into because an internal pocket could definitely be useful but because it's such a lightweight design, (like a shirt) we didn't think it was best for the look and function of the particular jacket to add an interior pocket. Hope this helps and let me know if we can help with anything else.
Just ordered my first bomber and I couldn’t be happier with it. The heather grey bomber caught my eye immediately and my intuition proved correct. The bomber fits great and feels even better. I’d highly recommend to anyone interested in stepping up their bomber game.
